Young female patient:  “Is it my thyroid?  Why have I gained so much weight”?

Doctor: “Congratulations,  you are  4 months pregnant”.

Young female patient:  “Oh”.

Doctor:  “Do you and your husband want a child”?

Young female patient:  “I am not married”.

Doctor: Do you know who the father is?

Young female patient: “My boyfriend.  I broke up with him yesterday and I told him I never wanted to see him again under any circumstances.  He was living with my older sister and me and I found out just yesterday that he knocked up my sister.  She’s only two months pregnant.  Boy, will she be jealous when she finds out my baby will be first”.
